Centreforce Celebrates First Year on DAB

We all took a trip down the rabbit hole on Friday the 12th of July to celebrate Centreforce’s 1st DABirthday. We partied hard in our magical Wonderland at the Hangar, London Fields with Alice, Tweedledum and Tweedledee and the Queen of Hearts.

The night was special with Paul da Kutt, Huck Finn, Pasha and Magri, Boys at Work, Alex P, Bubbler and Joey G, Tenacious, Seeker and Rooney, Martin Cee and Sarah LP, Ritchie Eames, Tre, Steve ESP and Jack Bass all dropping anthems and classics from an era that we all love and has a special place in our hearts. Danny Lines and Chalkie White hosted the night and had the crowd wanting more.

Andy and Danny Swallow said: “The night was amazing and the Centreforce DJs pulled out very special sets that took people from the past and into the future. The atmosphere and setting blew us away, it really was something else. A huge thank you to our Centreforce listeners and followers who came and partied with us. We really couldn’t do it without them.”

“The first year DAB is a huge milestone for Centreforce and we’re excited for what the future holds. Watch this space.”

Centreforce, with all of its management, DJs and team can look back on an eventful year and feel proud of what has been achieved so far.

Danny Swallow (Master Pasha) said: “The last year has been incredible for us. We’ve gone from a little broom cupboard in Loughton, to an amazing studio. We have loads of fantastic new DJs and we’ve been able to work with so many great people from our scene. We keep on going and I didn’t know if we’d still be here a year on. I think 2020 is going to be a massive year for us and we’re going to be branching out into a lot of new areas, and I’m really looking forward to that. I also want to thank all of the listeners and Centreforce fans for their continued support, it means a lot to me and the station.”
